This program enables the formation of public-private partnerships among multiple types of healthcare, public health, and emergency management organizations through healthcare coalitions (HCCs), which are networks of individual public and private healthcare and response organizations partnering to conduct preparedness activities and collaborating to ensure each member has what it needs to respond to disasters and emergencies.
The selected candidate will be an employee of Public Health Solutions, a nonprofit organization which is the fiscal and administrative manager of the grant but will work be supervised by DOHMH. This is a grant-funded position.
Division Overview

OEPR is responsible for ensuring DOHMH is in a constant state of readiness as well as preparing NYC’s healthcare system to respond to any type of emergency.
Bureau overview
OEPR’s Bureau of Emergency Field Operations (BEFO) is responsible for standardizing operational planning across several emergency field operations, such as Community Reception Centers (CRCs), while maximizing resources in order to support these operations.
The CRC Planner's role will support preparedness for a major radiological incident.
