Service Contract Act (SCA) Position

Hourly Rate: $16.00 - $17.50

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Labor Grounds Maintenance a responsible for responding to general maintenance duties throughout the center. May transport students as necessary.
  • The Labor Grounds Maintenance transports equipment and/or commodities to the center.
  • Performs all landscaping and minor construction tasks as well as snow removal and exterior grounds keeping including the pickup and removal of center trash and general building maintenance assignments.
  • May perform interior and exterior janitorial, building maintenance and grounds keeping assignments according to work orders.
  • Ensures that all tools and equipment are in good repair and kept in appropriate storage sheds and closets.

Qualifications        

  • High School Diploma or GED required. 
  • Prefer one year of work experience with knowledge landscaping and maintaining grounds to include lawn care, planting, trimming, watering, raking etc.
  • Able to complete all mandated training requirements per government and management directives.  
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.
  • Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
