About the Role - What You’ll Do

Manufacture MEKP products safely and efficiently in accordance with standard operating procedures while maintaining compliance, quality, and 6S requirements.

  Key Responsibilities:   Area of Responsibility 1: Production Operations & Material Handling
  • Operate and control MEKP process equipment to safely produce quality product.
  • Observe chemical reactions and monitor gauges, signals, and recorders; make required operating adjustments based on direction from the control laboratory, supervisor, or operational indicators.
  • Maintain specified temperature, pressure, and vacuum levels using valves and system controls.
  • Execute the MEKP reaction process following all SOPs.
  • Prepare 40% Sulfuric Acid and EDTA solutions.
  • Monitor addition of rework materials as required.
  • Perform routine troubleshooting and support minor repairs or adjustments to plant equipment.
  • Change all plant filters and complete other routine maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with general production duties and material handling as needed.
  Area of Responsibility 2: Compliance, Quality, and Cross-Functional Support
  • Follow all production procedures, safety rules, and regulatory requirements; this is a safety‑sensitive position.
  • Maintain 6S standards in assigned work areas.
  • Train other employees as directed, ensuring safe, accurate, and compliant practices.
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
  Safety & Environment
  • Adhere to all safety procedures, including PPE use, safe chemical handling, and equipment operation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work area in alignment with 6S expectations
  Quality Assurance
  • Monitor process conditions to ensure product is manufactured to specifications.
  • Ensure accuracy in documentation, process logs, and system entries.
  • Support correct handling, labeling, and preparation of materials and chemicals.
  • Assist in adherence to quality system requirements and internal standards.
  • Support ISO 9001, 14001, and Responsible Care programs
         What We’re Looking For:
    • High School diploma/GED or verifiable work experience.
    • Proficient in math and ability to distinguish colors.
    • Experience in chemical handling.
    • Ability to use PLC systems.
    • Ability to work rotating shifts.
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to understand verbal and written communication.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent.
    • Ability to climb stairs and work in congested manufacturing areas.
      Work Environment:
    • Chemical manufacturing environment with exposure to processing equipment, raw materials, and chemical reactions.
    • Frequent standing, walking, climbing, lifting, and material handling.
    • Regular PPE use required for chemical operations.
