✨✨Join our group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of Youth! Rite of Passage is hiring for a Youth Care Mentor at Canyon State Academy in Queen Creek, Arizona ✨✨
Canyon State Academy is located on a scenic 180-acre campus surrounded by a Farm, Student Housing for 300 + youth, a Thrift Store, Cafe, Barbershop and Church open to the community incorporating life skills for our students. Along with a fully equipped weight room, football stadium, and athletic center (gymnasium, padded wrestling room & more), Canyon State has it all!
Pay: Starting at $17.91 an hour
$1,000 sign on bonus

What you will do: Youth Care Mentors work directly with the youth providing supervision. They work with the youth to make sure the day-to-day schedule is followed. Responsibilities can include supervising youth in the school, taking youth to medical appointments or outings. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

To be considered you should: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent ~ 1 year of working in a child welfare or agency setting ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
Schedule: Two Shifts
A Shift Days – Sunday to Every other Wednesday 8a-8p or 8a-9p *1 hour break each day*
B Shift Days –Every other Wednesday to Saturday 8a-8p or 8a-9p
A Shift Nights – Sunday to Every other Wednesday8p-8a
B Shift Nights –Every other Wednesday to Saturday 8p-8a
*Schedule subject to change based on the need of the program*
