This role could involve a wide range of hands-on tasks associated with improving our onsite production, while supporting our shift of production to our 3rd party contract manufacturers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a cross-functional team as a primary electrical resource in the development of new products and drive design for manufacturing excellence.
  • Participate on a project team of engineers involved in the specification, design, development, assembly and test of electromechanical product hardware.
  • Help provide training/mentorship support to contract manufacturing personnel.
  • Approve and validate electrical first articles.

  • 1-3 years of experience in PCB/EE design and/or debugging, or NPI Engineering Process in manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding and interest in high-tech manufacturing processes, NPI activities, and product development lifecycle
  • Ability to produce high quality documentation that is clearly understandable by internal and external personnel
  • Working knowledge of schematic capture and PCB layout tools. Hands-on experience with assembly and test equipment and associated fixture design
  • Able to work independently and as a strong team player being detail-oriented, organized, and hands-on.
