  • Provides direct nursing care to an assigned group of patients, under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer.
  • Completes patient assessments including checking a patient’s vitals, physical exam, and obtaining the patient’s medical history. 
  • Assists in preoperative, postoperative, and relevant health teaching for patients and family.
  • Shares responsibility for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans.
  • Participates in team conferences, sharing knowledge, information, and ideas among team members.
  • Administer medications and observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
  • Perform laboratory tests and therapeutic services.
  • Participates in emergency care.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Current CMA/RMA Certification required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Six months of clinical experience required
  • BLS/CPR certification required
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
