Mason Meals is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Kitchen Prep to assist in our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will support the culinary team by preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring all food preparation areas meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring
• Assist chefs with basic cooking tasks as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Stock kitchen supplies and notify management when inventory is low
• Follow recipes and instructions accurately
• Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating food items

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food prep environment preferred
• Knowledge of basic food hygiene and safety practices
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
