Qualifications

This role requires a graduate from an accredited nursing program with a current RN license in Illinois. Candidates must provide proof of their highest level of education obtained and be certified in BLS, NRP by orientation, STABLE within one year, and RNC within three years of hire. The position involves 12-hour rotating shifts in the NICU and offers competitive pay and benefits.

Job Description

Work Schedule: 

90% FTE, 3-12 hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. 7:00p-7:00a You will work at the UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL.  You may be eligible for up to a $15,000 sign on bonus.

Additional components of compensation include impressive shift differentials - $4/ hr evening, $5 hr night, and $4.25/ hr weekend shift differential as applicable for hours worked.

Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program. Required 
  • Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required
Work Experience Licenses & Certifications
  • Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois. Required
  • Bi-annual CPR certification. Required
  • NRP by end of orientation. Required
  • STABLE certification within 1 year. Required
  • RNC certification within 3 years of hire. Required
