PRN X-RAY Tech (Radiologic Technologist) Position. This is primarily a Thursday and Friday position with one weekend needed per month. Will provide service to our nationwide Long-Term Care and outside the hospital client base. Will complete diagnostic exams in a professional and timely manner. RT will be provided with all overhead including vehicle, x-ray equipment, gas card and image processing tools. X-RAY Tech will interact with our Call Center Dispatch Associates to pick up cases and report cases that are completed.

ROLE: Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG (if applicable) service to nursing homes, health care facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities.

Hours: Flexible hours with rotating weekends

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Perform and process X-Rays and submit/transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation.

  2. Perform EKGs and transmit EKGs to a Cardiologist for interpretation.

  3. Demonstrate regular attendance.

  4. Communicate efficiently and perform professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.

  5. Maintain required state licenses/ARRT certification, health requirements, and operational requirements.

  6. Attend meetings, as required
  7. Connect and disconnect Holter Monitors
  8. Submit accurate and timely time sheets, as per protocol
  9. Maintain equipment cleanliness and maintenance 
  10. Perform special projects or other duties as assigned by Supervisors/Managers
  11. Train other technologists, as required.  

REQUIREMENTS:  

  1. Completion of Radiology program
  2. ARRT Certification
  3. State X-Ray License, if applicable
  4. Valid driver’s license in the applicable state and in good current standing.
  5. Complete and successfully pass drug screening and background check.
  6. Great organizational skills
  7. Ability to work independently
  8. Enjoys driving and moving from location to location
  9. Professional attitude and compassion for patient care
  10. Excellent skill set and ability to meet daily challenges
