What you'll do:
  • Remove and install the interior, including carpeting, padding, plastic panels, trim, fabric accessories, etc. using hand tools according to Freedom Motors procedures under minimal supervision.
  • Assemble and install automotive seats.
  • Perform troubleshooting of equipment as needed.
  • Modify plastic panels as needed. Connect and reinstall. 
  • Operate and troubleshoot interior/electrical systems.
  • Use hand tools including, but not limited to, impact drivers, hand drills, band saws, etc. 
  • Assist other areas as needed.
What you’ll need:
  • Coursework beyond High School Diploma preferred.
  • Labor experience with carpentry, finishing experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to accurately use a tape measure and read and interpret blueprints.
  • Demonstrated initiative, willingness to take on greater challenges, and high self-motivation.
  • Ability to use hand-tools including, but not limited to, grinder, body saw, impact drivers, hand drills, etc.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong time-management skills, attention to detail, trouble-shooting skills, and pride in craftsmanship.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
  • Outstanding attendance record and reliability.
