Park Marker

The Part Marker will mark identification on all parts and will pull parts from stock to prepare them for shipment within the value stream.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Marks parts and identifies all parts per work order and/or customer specifications.
  • Packages parts for stock and/or shipment.
  • Closes out work orders as needed.
  • Maintains stockroom as required.
  • Prepares parts for shipment (i.e., pulls items from daily lists, validates counts, assembles wooden and cardboard boxes).
  • Inserts parts into shipping containers with the proper paperwork and proper labels.
  • Maintains and executes cycle counts in finished goods warehouse as needed.
  • Maintains a clean work area/environment.
  • Operates forklift and/or uses hand-truck to move parts to stock and distribute items as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic Computer Skills - able to learn new screens, reports, functions and simple software programs with assistance
  • Good communication skills with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mylars preferred.
  • Reads and understands internal procedures and policies.
  • Understands and follow through on both verbal and written instructions
  • Team-oriented with a continuous improvement outlook.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Regularly required to stand; walk; sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.

Pay range: $18.00-19.50/hour
