Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Finishing Load/Unload- 1st Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $20.21 per hour. The core hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm.  Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do:

Assist paint line performance by performing duties including hanging/removing parts and material from load bar, recording of pieces, hours and load bar information on computer. 

• Performs the carrying and lifting of parts to hang or unhang off the painting production line.  
• Performs visual inspections of material prior to and after painting.
• Performs miscellaneous related assignments, such as masking, wrapping, touch-up painting, etc.
• Maintain components and supplies as required to operate efficiently.
• Perform 5S & continuous improvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.  Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with powder painting
• Experience in a production environment

Position Criteria:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally to frequently (33-66%) and up to 75 lbs. occasionally by stooping, reaching, bending
• Ability to read blueprints and use simple measuring tools
•  Ability to follow directions, work independently and close attention to detail
• Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product
• Ability to reach, grasp, bend and manipulate¬
• Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks
