Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the weekly payroll processes for our organization using Paylocity. You will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations. This is a critical role that requires precision, confidentiality, and a strong understanding of payroll systems and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process weekly payrolls for all employees using Paylocity and electronic time keeping system.
  • Ensure payroll is processed in an accurate, compliant, and timely manner.
  • Maintain payroll records, including accurate data entry and updating of employee information.
  • Address and resolve employee inquiries related to payroll.
  • Prepare and submit all required payroll reports and documentation.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate benefit deductions and contributions.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Stay current on payroll system updates and best practices.
  • Create hours and overtime reports for local areas after payroll is complete.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred).
  • Previous experience managing payroll, preferably with Paylocity or similar payroll software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Compensation: $18.50 - $25/hour
