We are seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join our team in our Coraopolis, PA location. The Building Maintenance Technician will upkeep the property by performing a variety of maintenance tasks, including light plumbing and electrical work, snow and garbage removal, painting, and landscaping. This is a hands-on position where attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to troubleshoot and fix problems quickly are essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plumbing: Perform routine plumbing tasks such as unclogging drains, fixing leaks, and maintaining plumbing systems.
  • Electrical: Conduct light electrical repairs, including replacing light fixtures, switches, and outlets, as well as troubleshooting minor electrical issues.
  • Snow Removal: Ensure pathways, driveways, and parking lots are clear of snow and ice during the winter months.
  • Garbage Removal: Handle the removal of trash and recyclables from building facilities and surrounding areas, ensuring cleanliness and proper disposal.
  • Painting: Perform touch-ups and full paint jobs as needed for interior and exterior spaces.
  • Landscaping: Maintain outdoor areas by mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting, and ensuring the grounds are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance tasks.
  • Good physical condition, as the role requires lifting and manual labor.
  • Ability to handle snow removal and outdoor tasks in all weather conditions.
  • Experience using floor sweeper/scrubber, backhoe, skid steer, forklift, pallet jack, boom lift, scissor lift is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
