Full-time school-year position working 37.5 hours per week

A snapshot of what you'll do:

  • Provide a positive, safe, stimulating, and inclusionary learning environment
  • Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities
  • Provide constant supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of each child within the learning center
  • Maintain open and effective communication with parents and families
  • Work collaboratively with other educators and staff to promote a positive and cohesive team environment
  • Screen and assess children to determine developmental and educational needs

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field with coursework (preferred, not required)
  • A Florida Staff Credential (one of the following):
  • ----Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC),
  • ----Early Childhood Professional Certificate (ECPC),
  • ----National Early Childhood Credential (CDA/NECC), or
  • ----Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development
  • Successful completion of the Florida Department of Children & Families 45-hour Child Care Training preferred
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
