Job Description

Position Summary:  To work in conjunction with other healthcare professionals in identifying and providing medical nutrition therapy services for inpatients and/or outpatients identified and/or referred for moderate to extensive/complex diet education/counseling or nutrition therapy; to serve as a resource for patients, families, staff and the community; and to participate in quality assessment/process improvement activities related to nutritional care.

Experience: 6 months nutrition related (may include route to registration eligibility).

Education:   Bachelor’s of Science (or Arts) Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics, Registered Dietitian or Registry Eligible.

Required License / Credentials: Registered Dietitian

Other Required Skills: Able to read, write and speak the English language. Clinical Skills for performing nutrition assessments for patients and documenting nutrition care plans, interpreting lab values and knowledge of enteral nutrition support.

Bi-Weekly Hours: 80

Work Schedule: M-F Day Shifts, Every 4th Saturday

The minimum starting rate for this position is $25.85
