Position Overview: We’re on the hunt for an enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our fun-loving team. As an RBT, you’ll work under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to deliver individualized treatment plans that help our clients thrive. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who are looking to kickstart their career in ABA and make a tangible difference every day. We have positions available in Center, Home, and School settings in Martin and St. Lucie County.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans created by the BCBA to assist our clients with developmental growth.
  • Collect and record data on client behavior via Central Reach Platform.
  • Conduct one-on-one and group therapy sessions.
  • Help clients develop essential life skills.
  • Communicate regularly with the supervising BCBA and other team members.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Certified RBT in good standing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
  • Availability between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday-Friday. 
  • Availability between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday for make-up sessions when applicable.  
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility in therapeutic delivery placement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

  • Commitment to become certified and maintain the certification as an RBT, including having an active supervisor and meeting the annual requirements for Medicaid.
  • Track supervision hours and renew the RBT certification as mandated by the BACB to maintain the certification.
  • Work 1:1 with patients in the home, school, clinic, and community settings.
  • Work ethically and with integrity while following the BACB Ethical Code.
  • Collect and maintain accurate data and clinical notes utilizing data collection software.
  • Review and implement consultation/supervision note recommendations.
  • Consistently implement treatment plans with fidelity (under BCBAs direction) and prepare program materials; treatment protocols that include a wide variety of domains such as toilet training, communication, social, and adaptive living skills.
  • Participate in ongoing training, evaluations, and meetings, as required.
  • Understand and adhere to HIPAA policies 
  • Adhere to time and attendance policies and maintain a record, in good standing, of regular and reliable attendance and punctuality, to provide quality and consistent client care
