Qualifications

We're looking for a Lube Tech to perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance on vehicles. Responsibilities include oil/lube/tire changes, inspections, and general housekeeping duties, with a high school diploma or equivalent required. Shop experience is a plus, and the ability to lift 75 lbs is necessary.

Job Description

Position Summary 

Works under direct supervision and follows established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. Performs minor repairs and limited preventive maintenance (PM) on assigned equipment.

Shop lead technician and/or Maintenance Manager

  • Responsible for oil/lube/tire changes, 13-point inspections, brake inspections and tire repair and replacements, and miscellaneous vehicle repairs 
  • Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to commercial vehicles
  • Perform routine oil & lube services on commercial vehicles  
  • Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility, including general housekeeping duties 
  • Capable of lifting a minimum of 75 lbs. 
  • Performing oil change services, checking and topping off of all fluids, checking tire pressures and air and cabin filters in a timely manner 
  • Performing tire rotations, mounting and balancing
  • Assist senior mechanics with needed tasks.
  • Power wash exterior body of trucks, under hood, framework, and rear working section.
  • Conducts safety checks on vehicles.
  • Assists with service calls for breakdowns.
  • Performs other maintenance related work as required.
  • Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards.
  • Upkeep of shop and tools, ensuring all tools are clean and in proper storage locations, trash is taken out on a regular basis, floors are swept and kept free of any slip and/or trip hazards.
  • Other duties as assigned by shop lead or higher supervision.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Shop experience a plus
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
  • Clean driver’s license & driving record

Shift/Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday
  • Additional hours may be needed
  • Shift is 10-12 Hours
