Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Scheduler to join our healthcare team in Webster, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments, managing schedules for medical staff, and ensuring a smooth and efficient scheduling process to enhance patient experience and clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Coordinate with medical providers and staff to manage daily schedules and appointment availability.
  • Confirm patient appointments via phone, email, or text reminders.
  • Assist patients with rescheduling or cancellations as needed.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Handle incoming calls and inquiries related to scheduling and general patient information.
  • Update and maintain accurate patient records and appointment logs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in medical office administration is a plus.
  • Previous experience in medical scheduling or healthcare administration preferred.
