Corporate Intern

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Corporate Intern for our office in Astoria, NY.

This internship provides hands-on experience identifying cost-saving opportunities, analyzing operational expenses, and supporting efforts to recover and optimize company spend. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to review processes, track recoverable costs, and contribute to projects that directly impact the company’s financial performance.

Responsibilities: 

• Conduct reviews to identify unbilled costs, or inaccurate billing
• Compare invoices to contracts, purchase orders, and scope of work deliverables to maximize billing recovery
• Prepare account reviews with a focus on account revenue and GP trends, present to Account Management and Operations
• Assist with establishing and managing procedures for tracking billable incidents
• Review and update billing contract line items
• Assist with tracking of project costing
• Perform administrative tasks as needed

Basic Requirements: 

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges 
• Must have a reliable form of transportation
