Job Description

We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Lifeguard to join our team at Ruales in Brick, NJ. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety of all patrons by monitoring swimming areas, enforcing safety rules, and responding promptly to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor swimming areas to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all guests.
• Enforce facility rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including performing rescues and administering first aid or CPR as needed.
• Conduct regular safety checks of pool equipment and facilities.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and management.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures of the pool area.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote a positive experience for all visitors.

Qualifications

• Current Lifeguard certification (e.g., American Red Cross, YMCA, or equivalent).
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required.
• Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous lifeguard or aquatic safety experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Work Environment

This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and standing for long periods. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed is essential.
