Arbor Financial Credit Union

We got our start in 1935 as the Kalamazoo School Employees Credit Union. Our goal: to meet the financial needs of local educators. Since then, our mission has evolved and we now provide services to all types of families and businesses across the state of Michigan. In 2016, we became Arbor Financial Credit Union. The new name was designed to change the perception that you had to be a teacher to join. With the reference to trees, we also wanted to reinforce our strong community roots, commitment to growth, and our environmentally friendly mindset. Arbor Financial has ten branches within the south west MI area. More than 40,000 people are Arbor Financial members. The credit union has over $600 million in assets. At Arbor Financial, we foster a can-do culture. It stems from the Core Values we instill in our staff: • Work together. • Do the right thing. • Be creative. • Have fun. From the minute you walk through the door of one of our Michigan branches, you can feel the friendly vibe. Our employees go out of their way to meet your needs and treat you well.
