The driver is responsible for operating a tractor-trailer to transport specialized freight over-the-road for 10-14 day intervals. Duties include managing no-touch freight and performing deliveries that will eventually include international routes into Canada.
Qualifications
We are immediately hiring a CDL-A driver to haul specialized, no-touch freight on OTR routes. This role requires at least one year of tractor-trailer experience in the last five years and a willingness to obtain a passport for eventual deliveries into Canada. Drivers can expect weekly pay, full benefits, and a pet & rider policy.
Job Description
Hiring immediately for Class A Driver!
Must live within 175 miles of Augusta, GA
$6000 Sign on Bonus
CDL- A Driver / Truck Driver Responsibilities:
- Out 10-14 days
- No Touch Freight
- Automatic
- Average 2200-2400 miles weekly
- $30 per stop
- Weekend work required
- Must be willing to obtain a Passport within 90-120 days of being hired
- Will eventually deliver into Canada
- Mileage pay: $.57cpm-$.60cpm; Average $85k-$90k annually
CDL-A Driver / Truck Driver Requirements:
- 1 year of tractor trailer experience within the past 5 years, but must have driven at least 6 months in the past 24 months
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 12 months; or no more then 4 mv in the past 3 years
- No more than 2 jobs in the past 12 months for any drivers with 6 months exp
- No major moving violation in the past 3 years
- DUI must be outside of 10 years
- Urine drug screen required
