As a key member of our clinical team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting patient care and keeping our practice running smoothly. Your day-to-day work will directly impact our patients’ health and experience.
Prepare exam rooms: sanitize, stock supplies, and ensure medications/vaccines are ready for the day
Review upcoming appointments and identify gaps in care (mammograms, colonoscopies, immunizations, etc.)
Escort patients to rooms and manage patient flow to maximize efficiency
Take and record vitals, patient history, allergies, medications, and current concerns
Assist with procedures, including EKGs, Holter monitors, and in-office testing
Collect and process lab specimens; track and document results
Perform quality control on equipment and testing materials
Help at the front desk when needed — greeting patients, answering phones, verifying insurance
Collaborate with providers and the care team to ensure the best patient outcomes
Graduation from a NYS-accredited Medical Assistant program is required
Current Medical Assistant certification preferred (NHA, AMT, AAMA, NCCT)
BCLS certification (in-person training only, American Heart Association)
Strong clinical skills including phlebotomy and aseptic technique
