The position requires a current Utah or compact state license/certification, strong critical thinking and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Evening and weekend shifts are required, and candidates should be comfortable with computer systems and electronic medical records.

Do you enjoy the rapid pace of a thriving urgent care clinic and the excitement and variety of patient care opportunities that come along with it? This position provides direct patient care in the Urgent Care setting with an emphasis on acute care visits, including treatment of a vast assortment of sicknesses and injuries. Using the appropriate process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of Moab Regional Hospital and Moab Regional Health Center, this position has the opportunity to utilize critical thinking and a wide range of vital skills for patients of all ages.      This position is a non-exempt, full-time, benefitted position. Anticipated schedule: Evening and Weekend shifts are required. RN Starting pay range: $31 – 39.68/hour, DOE. LPN Staring pay range: $24.50 - 31.36/hour/ DOE. MA Starting pay range: $20 - 25.60/hour, DOE.     Minimum requirements:
  • Current, unencumbered Utah or compact state RN or LPN license, or MA certification.
  • Knowledge of infection control principles, patient safety techniques, and prevention of adverse reactions to medications/treatments.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to maintain such in situations with rapidly changing circumstances.
  • Demonstrated communication skills, both orally and in writing, with providers, co-workers, patients, and patient families.
  • Must possess high level of self-motivation and be comfortable working both independently, and as part of a small team.
  • Knowledge of computer systems, data entry and electronic medical records.
  • Schedule flexibility, including willingness and ability to regularly work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. without assistance and lift/move weights beyond 50 lbs. with assistance.
  • Ability to work in a confidential manner.
  • Reliable and timely with work schedule.
  • Flexible and willing to accept other duties as assigned.
