Today, MSI Metro Sales Inc., a 100% Employee-Owned Company, is an industry leading hardware, software, and managed services provider.   MSI Metro Sales Inc. is seeking an Employee-Owner, Inventory Clerk, to join our Burnsville, MN team. This onsite role will be picking, packing and shipping products, tools and supplies to internal and external clients.     Key Areas of Responsibilities: 
  • Daily picking, packing, shipping and receiving of customer orders, parts and tech tools and supplies.
  • Ensure that items are stocked and stored in the appropriate places daily. 
  • Place orders for more inventory based on demand.
  • Restock depleted products.
  • Keep the warehouse area clean and organized. 
  • Answer phones and email.
  • Handle parts counter and will call area for couriers and customers.  
  • Inventory clerks are responsible for keeping detailed records of inventory, perform counts for audits and other activities. 
  • Report discrepancies between the recorded and available number of products to supervisor.
  • Analyze previous data to help the company make informed decisions.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
Minimum Requirements:
  • HS diploma, GED or equivalent. 
  • Must be proficient in data entry, the windows environment and be able to utilize MS Office Applications. 
  • Ability to lift and maneuver a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Must be willing to work overtime to support team and company goals as needed.
  • Ability to travel as needed for support or training.
  • Successfully complete all assigned training and cross training in other areas of MSI.
