Overview

Golden Nugget Front Desk Agent - Night Auditor

  • A Front Desk Night Auditor is responsible for balancing and auditing all hotel revenue transactions from the day's activities. This position ensures the accuracy of guest accounts, reconciles daily financial reports, and provides exceptional guest service during the overnight hours. 
  • The Night Auditor serves as the main point of contact for guests after hours and ensures the safety and security of the property.

Responsibilities

  • Balance and audit all daily guest charges and hotel revenues.
  • Prepare and distribute accurate end of day reports for management and accounting.
  • Verify that all departments have properly closed out their daily transaction.
  • Reconcile and post charges to guest accounts; correct any discrepancies found during the audit process.
  • Process guest check ins, check-outs, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Answer phones, respond to guest inquires, and resolve any issues or complaints professionally.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and in accordance with policy.
  • Monitor property activity during overnight hours, ensuring guest and team member safety.
  • Communicate significant incidents or irregularities to management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Prior high-volume customer service experience 

  • One (1) year of hotel front desk experience strongly preferred
