Working hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.

Job Overview: This person will find external carrier and build and maintain those relationships, so we have a pool of carriers to choose from to cover freight for our clients.

What you'll be doing:

• Cover all assigned freight following carrier vetting and tracking requirements
  • Tools to use include Carrier 411, TMW, Parade, DAT, Truckstop, 1K, etc.  
• Complete outbound calls on assigned freight to cover for the day
• Perform check calls to ensure timely pickups and deliveries and communicate issues to the Account Management team
• Proactively work ahead to network viable and core carriers to book their trucks
• Work with carriers to maximize use of load tracking system for maximum freight visibility
• Understand carrier needs and lanes and communicate to Account Management to leverage potential opportunities
• Communicate capacity and market fluctuations to Broker and Account Management teams
• Call on established carriers at least one time per week to maximize freight opportunities
• Follow all required SOPs, responsiveness standards, and training assignments 
• Complete assigned recruiting assignments for new business opportunities
• Proactively identify CI opportunities to gain efficiencies in day-to-day operations 
• Additional duties as assigned by management to support the efficient operation and success of the team
