Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software development projects including desktop, web, and cloud applications.

• Assist the application development team with architecture, design, implementation, testing, debugging, and ongoing maintenance of new and existing software solutions.

• Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to determine, define and analyze software requirements.

• Provide technical subject matter expertise and work with a wider team to ensure development activities are aligned with project scope, schedule, priority, and business objectives.

• Analyze, evaluate, and integrate 3rd-party vendor interfaces; perform gap and performance analysis of 3rd-party vendor interfaces.

• Generate technical detailed design documentation for audit compliance.

• Contribute to the team’s long-term vision by identifying and incorporating methodologies and procedures pertaining to industry standards, modern technical innovations, and best practices.

• Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all job-specific training requirements in a timely fashion.

• Perform other related duties as assigned or directed.


Qualifications

Education, Training and Requirements:

• Applicant pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or related field with programming related courses or equivalent.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of application development principles, including design, documentation, and programming skills.

• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Skills:

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

• Ability to work independently and remain on task.

• Experience with database design/development, application life-cycle management, user interface frameworks, and web/web services/cloud development would be beneficial.

Experience:

• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant coursework.
