Job Description

Dustrol, Inc., a 100% Employee-Owned asphalt contractor established in 1973, is hiring a Full-Time Paint and Body Assistant at our Towanda, Kansas location. We design, build, and maintain our own custom trucks and heavy equipment used in asphalt recycling projects throughout the Midwest.

This position is ideal for someone who wants to build hands-on skills in body repair and equipment refinishing while working alongside experienced technicians. We provide on-the-job training and the opportunity to grow within the role.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and mask cars, trucks, and heavy equipment for paint
  • Sandblast equipment and components
  • Sand, prep, and prepare surfaces for painting
  • Remove and replace damaged body parts
  • Disassemble vehicles and equipment for painting and reassemble without damage
  • Remove, replace, and install decals
  • Upfit vehicles (tool boxes, work lights, strobes, etc.)
  • Assist with basic vehicle wiring, fiberglass repair, body repair, and paint processes
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Willingness to learn and develop hands-on technical skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and common-sense problem-solving ability
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Previous auto body, collision repair, or trade school experience is a plus, but not required

This role is designed for someone who wants to grow their skills in paint and body work. We are willing to train the right individual who shows initiative, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Schedule

Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)

Pay

$40,000–$65,000 annually (Based on Experience)
