Job Summary:

This position reports directly to the department manager and is responsible for providing support to the supervisors in the department in terms of monitoring of employee activities along with any administrative duties for manager. Individual needs to function comfortably in a fast- paced work environment with the ability to meet deadlines. Individual is also required to participate in creating the IBC experience for the bank customers by providing support to the branches and bank employees.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The statements on this job description are intended to describe the general nature of level of work being performed by incumbents.  They are not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required by all incumbents.

  • Provides support to the Manager with terms of administrative duties to oversee departments including generating of reports
  • Assist with on the job training/cross training of employees
  • Manage Manager's calendar on a daily basis to ensure that all meetings and appointments are scheduled accordingly and maintained.
  • Develop all operational and corporate presentations for manager.
  • Provide support to the Supervisors in the department in terms of monitoring employee activities, productivity, and time clock functions.
  • Ensure understanding of all departments overseen by manager to be able to assist with daily situations that arise and assist in resolving them.
  • Ensure functionality of all systems in the department and report issues to manager on a daily basis.
  • Assists manager with reaching out to bank attorneys in litigation cases.
  • Assist manager with corporate projects including that of coordinating work efforts with project managers and committee members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Assist with bank questions, identify and escalate high priority or out of ordinary situations/requests and handle them accordingly.
  • Ensure supplies are ordered for the departments.

EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Computer literate and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Effective English verbal and written communication skills, Bilingual Spanish is a plus
  • Able to work flexible hours when needed
  • At least 1 year of working experience with banking or customer service experience preferred.
