Remote: Fridays only (subject to business needs)

The Product Development Coordinator supports the Sr. Product development & Production Manager in managing materials, tracking development progress, and ensuring accuracy across systems. This role is highly detail-oriented and requires strong organizational skills and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain fabric development charts by mill/vendor.
  • Coordinate all lab dip and strike-off requests with vendors, ensuring timely follow-up and clear communication of comments.
  • Update and maintain fabric boards with lab dip and strike off approvals.
  • Request, collect, and organize all Fabric Detail Sheets (FDS) into a centralized, well-maintained filing system.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date product development data across PLM systems and Excel trackers, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
  • Create and maintain seasonal development binders.
  • Set up and maintain Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports across all categories, including wovens, knitwear, and cut & sew.
  • Update WIP reports weekly and ensure all WIPs align accurately with Tech Packs (TPs).
  • Assist in sourcing development materials, including fabrics and trims, both domestically (midtown) and overseas.
  • Assist in creating POs for yield report requests.
  • Collect and pass physical and/or digital patterns to obtain accurate yield reports.
  • Maintain and organize the core trim stock library for easy access and accurate inventory tracking.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the fabric/trim stockroom.
  • Create a core library of all linings, interlinings, and color cards.
  • Support development fittings, included but not limited to, steaming samples, organizing fit racks according to fit list and capturing images of samples on the model to add to the weekly fitting images folder.
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Product Development, or Business-related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in design, fashion product development, and production.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and PLM systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of garments constructions, specs, and materials
Pay Range: 60k-70K
