Job Description

Dentons US LLP is currently recruiting for a highly motivated Finance Intern to support our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role offers hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and business operations, along with exposure to key finance functions including Billing, Treasury, Business Intelligence, and Pricing.

Responsibilities

  • Support FP&A team in preparing financial analysis, dashboards, and presentations
  • Assist with data gathering, validation, and analysis for budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting cycles
  • Help maintain and update financial models and tracking tools
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to support business decision-making
  • Participate in cross-functional rotations, gaining exposure to Billing, Treasury, BI, and Pricing teams

Rotational Exposure
During the internship, you will have the opportunity to work with and learn from multiple finance-related teams, including:

  • Billing: Understanding client billing operations
  • Business Intelligence (BI): Supporting data analysis and reporting tools
  • Pricing: Assisting with financial modeling and client/matter pricing strategies

Experience & Qualifications

  • Undergraduate student with studies in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills and willingness to learn
