What You’ll Do

The Porter/Groundskeeper is responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of the property are maintained by cleaning the common grounds of the property. 

Your day-to-day may include:

  • Inspect buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness, alerting the Service Manager and Property Manager immediately to items that need to be addressed
  • Use power blower and pressure washer to clean breezeways, steps, sidewalks, pool areas, and any other common areas
  • Maintain the property’s flowerbeds, plants, and grass areas
  • Pick up trash on the property and in common areas, including, but not limited to driveways, parking lots, curbs, trash receptacle areas, exterior hallways, and all public areas

Requirements

What You Bring

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Previous experience as a porter or similar function is preferred
  • Knowledge of using standard grounds maintenance equipment, such as lawn mowers, trimmers, power blowers, and pressure washers

The expected compensation range for this position is $16.00 – $18.00 per hour, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
