Associated Electric Cooperative is looking for students currently enrolled in an accounting or finance curriculum for a year-round Audit Services Internship. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, a passion for continuous learning, and strong collaboration skills. As an intern, you'll assist with work paper preparation and fieldwork, and may have the opportunity to travel during the summer for inventory counts.

Join us as a year-round Audit Services Intern at our Headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, where you’ll gain continuous, hands-on experience working alongside our Audit Services team on operational, compliance, and financial audits for AECI and its members.

What We’re Looking for:

  • Students who are currently enrolled in an accounting or finance curriculum. You must be enrolled in school for the duration of the internship.
  • A proactive attitude and passion for continuous learning.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a willingness to contribute to the success of a team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assist with work paper preparation and fieldwork for operational, compliance, and financial audits for AECI and its members.
  • Participate in travel opportunities during the summer to assist with inventory counts.
