The OSU Research Internship Program (ORIP) on the CFAES Wooster campus offers a paid, 10‑week summer research experience for graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate students. Interns work closely with faculty mentors on laboratory or field-based research projects, participate in professional development sessions, and present their work at a final symposium. This program is designed to expand STEM research opportunities and explore scientific career paths. Students are pre-selected and reviewed through an annual application process. Program Dates: May 11–July 17, 2026 Time Commitment: Minimum 30 hours/week Eligibility: Must be 18+ by May 1, 2026; OSU enrollment not required
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
