FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for providing research to the Risk Management Team, potentially including but not limited to updating and analyzing macroeconomic data, product volumes and pricing, competitive analysis and emerging technology / product / service solutions.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

Reports to:      Vice President – Strategy & Enterprise Risk

Supervises:      None

Contacts:         Risk Management team

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Education:       Must be a full-time student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in business administration with preference for finance, accounting, economics, and/or business analytics.

Experience:     A minimum of 1 year of college experience in a business degree program

                        Experience using Microsoft Office required

Macroeconomics, investments, and banking products knowledge a plus.

Skills:              Must be a detail-oriented and a flexible team player with the ability to interact professionally with all Bellco staff.

Motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills who enjoys working with a                          team.

Ability to work independently, set personal schedule to achieve goals, and frequent communication to supervisor about progress.

Strong analytical skills, with an ability to decide and take action by applying                                 critical thought, intuition, experience, and judgment to the data available.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills including the ability to                      present to an audience.

Proficient with organization, prioritization and multi-tasking effectively.

                  Must be able to follow projects through to completion, work independently, and                      meet strict deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Ability to work well within an interdepartmental and collaborative team                             environment.

Equipment:      Software used regularly includes:  Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Firefox/IE, internal systems and applications

                        Online computer terminal keyboard and visual monitor, (CRT), calculator, copier, fax, telephone, printer.

1. Preparation of senior- and executive-level presentations

Management retains the discretion to add to or change the duties of the position at any time.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Office environment. Mobility to move throughout department and corporate offices.

Must be able to lift and carry boxes and event supplies up to 50 lbs.

This is a temporary internship for Summer 2026.
