Entry Level Engineer / Scientist / Geologist

Bismarck, ND | Full-Time | Field-Based (~90%)
Salary: $50,000–$60,000 DOE

About the Role

Entry-level, hands-on field role (~90%) supporting environmental remediation, construction, and site investigation projects. Ideal for recent graduates and early-career professionals looking to gain real-world experience and grow into project-based roles.

You’ll work alongside a team of Environmental Scientists, Geologists, and Engineers across all experience levels, gaining exposure to active field operations, data collection, and technical project support.

This role is specific to Environmental Engineering and related disciplines. Candidates from unrelated fields (e.g., IT, software, electrical) will not be considered.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Environmental Engineering, Civil (environmental focus), Environmental Science, Geology, or related field
  • 0–3 years of experience (internships count)
  • Ability to work outdoors ~90% in varying conditions
  • Basic knowledge of sampling, field data collection, and safety
  • Valid driver’s license

Additional Experience Considered Favorably

  • Environmental remediation or construction support
  • Soil, groundwater, vapor, or surface water sampling
  • Field inspections or construction observation
  • Familiarity with EPA or state regulations

Physical Demands & Work Environment
