Duties and Responsibilities:

· Using a screw gun, installs bolts into pre-drilled holes and tighten them down. 

· Inspects skins for defects, trims, excess threads, and vinyl. 

· Places skins over parts and aligns stripes. 

· Pull vinyl tight over part and staples around edges, making sure that edges and stripes stay aligned.      

· Finish with screen and hem when necessary. 

· Inspects all parts after production to ensure that all parts are complete and up to quality standards. 

· Keep the work area clean and orderly. 

· Any other duties as assigned by management.

· Follow the instruction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead 

· Inspects all parts to be complete and up to quality standards. 

· Must comply with all OSHA and safety procedures.

Tools used in this occupation include but are not limited to:

· Personal Protective Equipment- Safety Glasses, half-mask respirator when spraying glue.

· Hand Tools- foam knives, razor knives, drills, hole saws, scissors, heat gun, staple gun, steamer.

Knowledge, Education, and Experience but not limited to:

· Must be able to use and maintain hand tools such as foam knives, razor knives, drills, hole saws, etc.

· Must be able to identify different boat model parts.

· Must be able to help unload supply trucks.

· Follow the instruction of the Supervisor/foreman/lead.

· Must have good hand-eye –coordination.

· Must be able to repair damaged parts when necessary.

· Be able to read orders and identify parts that are needed to maintain the production schedule.

· Knowledge of production processes and quality control.

· Must be able to work effectively individually or with a team.

· Keep the work area clean and orderly.

· Inspects all parts so that they are complete and up to quality standards. 

· Any other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air     

  temperature.

· Must be able to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods.

· Must be able to climb into and out of the interior of boats.

· Must be able to wear proper safety equipment, including a respirator when necessary.

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds when necessary.

· This is a safety-sensitive position.

· The ability to see details at close range.

· Be able to use and maintain small hand tools (grinder, scraper, razor knife, blower, etc.)
