Seasonal Positions & Internships

Founders Federal Credit Union offers a variety of entry level opportunities during the summer months for those looking to gain experience in the financial industry. These include internships for college credit as well as seasonal employment.

Job Responsibilities:

Primary job responsibilities will vary by position. We are looking for candidates who are eager and ready to learn in a growing organization. All positions will require attention to detail, a high level of accuracy, as well as professional communication with both employees and members. Employees will be expected to have a positive attitude, be punctual and dependable. 

Employees must comply with Founders’ policies and procedures, as well applicable laws, regulations, and statutes issued by federal agencies such as NCUA and FFIEC, including, but not limited to, GLB and BSA. Employees have legal and regulatory obligations to respect and protect the privacy of information and its integrity and confidentiality.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Previous cash handling, customer service, or position related experience is preferred, but not required. On-site training is provided for all positions. All candidates must have a high school level education. The candidate must have the ability to gain significant knowledge of all credit union services, including the cash policy, loan policy, security program, certificate program, etc.

Applicants must be available Monday-Thursday 8am -5pm, Fridays 8am-6pm; Mid-May through Mid-August.
A complete background check and drug screen will be conducted which includes references, criminal background check, and credit history. EOE
