Job Overview

Ebenezer is looking for a Dietary Assistant/Server to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior-age residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Burnsville, MN. Great experience and foot-in-the-door role for someone looking to get into a medical career or a student!

This nutrition services schedule includes;

  • 64 hours every two weeks
  • Day hours. Monday, Wednesday, Friday
  • Every other weekend and holiday rotation
  • Full Benefits package

Ebenezer Ridges Care Center highlights a full continuum of care campus including Transitional Care, Adult Day Programs,  Intergenerational Child Care, Long Term Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care.  We are located across the street from Fairview Ridges Hospital at the I-35E and I-35W split in Burnsville, MN. Responsibilities

  • Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting
  • Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and happiness with their meal service
  • Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies
  • Assists with meal prep and special events
  • Provides kitchen support when needed with dishwashing and cleaning of floors
  • Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately

Requirements

      • No previous experience required, but prefer work experience in a customer service setting
      • Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive demeanor required
      • Desire to work with seniors
      • Ability to interact compassionately and communicate effectively with residents and staff
