Job Title: Nurse Aide

Are you looking to get started in the medical field? We have an atmazing opportunity to become a certified nursing assistant after as little as 90 days of employment as an uncertified Nurse Aide! This opportunity requires excellent attendance, a CNA class paid for by the company, and a work commitment. 

Job Summary:

The Nurse Aide will be responsible for providing basic care to patients, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring their comfort and safety. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
• Help patients with mobility and transfer to and from beds, chairs, and wheelchairs
• Serve meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
• Document patient care activities and report any concerns to the nursing staff

Requirements

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to utilize Microsoft products at an intermediate level
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
• Ability to lift and move patients as needed

Physical and Sensory Requirements:

• Considerable physical activity:
• Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to fifty (50) or more pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of job.
• Push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds to a minimum height of three (3) feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of fifty (50) feet.
• Standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
• Bending and/or stooping for more than one (1) hour at a time.
