As a Mechanical Engineering Intern within the Brake Hydraulic Mechanics Component Design team, you will take on a dynamic role that blends cutting-edge virtual simulation with hands-on product analysis. Your primary focus will be on creating sophisticated vehicle maneuver and reservoir fluid animations using CarSim and CAE simulations, collaborating directly with CAD designers to visualize and validate complex designs. In addition, you will develop a "cockpit chart" for monitoring iBooster production data, requiring basic programming and close partnership with the iBooster team. You will also get hands-on experience by creating a physical reference kit of the iBooster assembly, which involves understanding bill of materials (BOM) structures and procuring and organizing components for a valuable "show and tell" display. This position is ideal for a candidate passionate about vehicle dynamics, data analysis, and the tangible aspects of mechanical systems.
Required Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in or completed third year of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new software tools and technologies
