Responsibilities
  • Job responsibilities will include but may not be limited to: Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately. Inspecting vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade. Conducting routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
  • Performing oil changes, checking and topping off of all fluids, checking tire pressures, air and cabin filters in a timely manor
  • Performing safety, general service inspections identifying fluid leakage, tire wear, service light identification and unperformed maintenance.
  • Flushing and servicing of all fluid operated or containing systems. Drive belt, coolant hose and light bulb replacements. Perform tire rotation, mounting and balancing and have basic TPMS knowledge.
  • Basic brake inspection of pad and shoe wear, rotor and drum wear limits, fluid leakage.
  • Responsible for keeping shop area neat, clean and able to account for all dealership owned tools at all times.
  • You may also be asked to assist our more experienced auto mechanics with more complicated repairs.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrate ability to learn basic mechanical, electrical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work well with others, helping out when and where needed.
  • Valid Driver's License with good driving record. Subject to verification.
  • Keeping presentable for customers at all times.
  • ASE Certification is not required at time of hire, however will be expected with on going employment.
