Childrens' Dental Center of New Hampshire is looking for a Lead Orthodontic Assistant in Amherst, New Hampshire to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

Position Overview:As an Orthodontic Assistant you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care by assisting the doctor in orthodontic procedures, treatment planning, and patient education. You will help maintain a well-organized practice by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, assisting in procedures and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

  • $3,000 sign on bonus for qualified candidates
  • Full time: Monday through Thursday from 8:00AM - 5:00 PM and Friday from 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for orthodontic procedures.
  • Assist the doctor with patient treatment, positioning instruments, and handling orthodontic appliances.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, post-procedure care, and oral hygiene.
  • Manage patient scheduling and assist with front-office tasks as needed.
  • Support dentists and staff with treatment planning, billing, and insurance matters.
  • Ensure accurate submission of expenses and invoices.
  • Maintain office inventory, including supplies and equipment.
  • Address patient and employee concerns professionally.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

  • Must  have at least 1 years of hands on experience
  • Strong organizational and problem solving-skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
