Qualifications

We are looking for a CDL A Yard Jockey to assist with loading, unloading, and organizing products within the warehouse and yard. This role requires candidates to be at least 21 years old with 0-1 years of driving experience and a Class A CDL license, with the ability to lift up to 170 pounds occasionally.

Job Description

  • McDonald's largest distributer worldwide
  • Local routes (home daily), Interstate license required
  • 4-day work week
  • 10-hour days
  • 3rd shift time: 6:00pm-4:00am
  • Assigned set schedule is based on availability: Sunday-Wednesday OR Wednesday-Saturday
  • Paid weekly

Position responsibilities:  

  • The CDL A Yard Jockey is responsible for loading straps, racks, and shippers onto truck during the loading process

  • The CDL A Yard Jockey will assist with pallet building and unloading of trucks to maintain organization of pallets and shells

  • This role ensures that the hand trucks and tow motors are charged and put in their respective places for drivers as well as all DSD routes have a fully charged mule on trailer prior to leaving the dock 

  • The CDL A Yard Jockey maintains general cleanliness of the warehouse and yard and assists with replenishment of product in the warehouse

  • Other duties as assigned  

Required Education and Experience:  

  • Must be at least 21 years old

  • 0 to 1 plus years of specific driving experience

  • Class A CDL Permit to Class A CDL license

  • Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds 

Preferred Education and Experience:  

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree
