RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet and provide a friendly, caring atmosphere for incoming/outgoing Service customers
  • Assist with service check-in process
  • Make key tags for vehicles Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed
  • Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed
  • Test batteries of customer vehicles in service drive
  • Transport customers as needed
  • Pick-up and deliver vehicles to and from storage if needed
  • Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, and damages before returning the vehicle to the customer and report any damage immediately
  • Perform vehicle deliveries as required
  • Return vehicle keys to the appropriate service consultant.
  • Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags prior to returning completed vehicle to customer
  • Maintains building and grounds as needed
  • Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving cars as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards
  • Assist with shop clean-up
  • Perform other duties given by Supervisor as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality eagerness to improve
  • Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service
  • Able to work flexible schedules including Saturdays
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
  • Experience with X-Time and CDK a plus
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation to and from work

COMPENSATION:

The Service Porter Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges.  Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $19.50 and $21.50. 

  • Hourly rate depends on experience
