​Our Renewal practice provides owners and managers with a home for solutions to a wide range of structural, envelope, and building systems needs for existing properties of every use, age, and construction type. Our multidisciplinary design and assessment services cover a wide range of needs. We perform condition assessments, investigations, feasibility studies, and peer reviews. We design repairs, renovations, and alterations and oversee their execution in the field.

Your Role 
As an Architect Intern in our Restoration & Renewal Practice, you will gain hands-on experience evaluating and improving building envelopes, interior systems, and architectural performance for renovation and adaptive reuse projects. You will work alongside experienced architects and engineers in a dynamic, collaborative environment, learning practical solutions for building improvement and system upgrades. 

What You’ll Do 

• Assist in field inspections and data collection for building envelopes and architectural systems. 

• Support assessments of system performance, code compliance, and renovation feasibility. 

• Help prepare technical documentation, drawings, and reports for project teams and clients. 

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, constructible solutions. 

What You’ll Bring 

• Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Architecture. 

• Strong academic record and interest in building performance, envelope design, and renovation projects. 

• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, or architectural detailing tools is a plus but not required. 

Compensation

The rate for this position generally is $18 - $25 hourly.  Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New Jersey Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee’s pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
