We are currently seeking Fellows in partnership with the EDF Corp program specializing in Sustainable Finance, and Supplier Engagement and Scope 3 and Environmental and Climate Justice to join our North America Sustainability Consulting team. Our team’s priorities are:

What the Internship involves:
 

Interns are an important part of what makes JLL a great place to work. Within our program, you will be an integral part of our team working alongside sustainability and ESG strategists, LEED and WELL consultants, Net Zero Carbon engineers, and the real estate professionals throughout the JLL platform.

In alignment with the EDF Program, you will gain valuable insight into sustainability applications across the commercial real estate industry, while being exposed to multiple lines of business over the course of your internship.

The ideal candidate should be prepared to work in a fast-paced work environment and will finish the internship having gained a broad experience in various aspects of Enterprise Sustainability and Commercial Real Estate.

You will gain direct exposure to the sustainability and ESG perspectives of both Occupier and Investor commercial real estate. This work can include strategy, project and portfolio certification, ESG reporting, technical net zero analysis, financial analysis and sustainability impact on real estate valuation. 

Qualifications: 


Current undergraduate/graduate students majoring in: 

  • Real Estate or Architecture

  • Sustainability or Environmental Science

  • Building Performance or Engineering (all disciplines)

  • Finance or Economics 

  • Desire to work in the Sustainability, Consulting, & Commercial Real Estate industry


Preferred Skills & Abilities:

  • Act decisively, think big, and manage your time to meet deadlines

  • Ability to work and develop relationships independently, with minimal direction 

  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication including public speaking

  • Interest in client-facing work

  • Proficiency in the use and application of technology

Estimated compensation for this position:

14,000.00 – 14,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
