Qualifications
We are looking for a Direct Care Staff member to supervise adolescent females, ages 12-18, and serve as a role model to provide support and structure to the residents in our care. A high school diploma or GED is required, and candidates must be over the age of 21 with maturity, empathy, and patience.

Established in 1994, Sequel Youth and Family Services of Owens Cross Roads is a licensed and academically accredited 42-bed residential treatment facility. The program specializes in treating adolescent females with behavioral disorders. The campus is located in Owens Cross Roads, AL near Huntsville, AL.

The Job
We are seeking talented individuals to help drive the success of youth in our communities. As a Youth Care Worker you will provide direct supervision to all adolescent females ages 12 -18. You will
serve as a role model and provide support & structure to the residents in our care.
Snapshot of Daily Duties
- Supervise residents in their daily routines providing rewards and consequences as prescribed by our behavior management system
- Maintain routine order on dorm unit and during activities
- Address group concerns according to Positive Peer Culture standards and elicit positive change for residents
- Complete assessments, reviews and other documentation in a timely manner
Must Haves
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required
- Over the age of 21
- Maturity, empathy and patience
- Be special – Not everyone can do what we do
- The ideal candidate must have the ability to adjust to a fast-paced environment and follow proper protocols
